I went for a haircut on Christmas Eve
I needed a haircut like you won’t believe

I left in my trousers, my coat and my boots
I followed my typical morning commute

The salon was located not far away
I trudged in excitement for what I can’t say

I had no particular haircut in mind
I wanted the hairdresser, Anne to decide
